What to Expect

NEW SERVICE TIMES:
We meet three times on a Sunday:
Our morning services are at 8:30am &10:30am. These are the same service (songs, sermons, and readings).
Our evening service is at 5:30pm, with a distinct sermon and songs.

Everyone is welcome, and we would love to meet you and have you join us at any of our services.

At Hope Church, we read the Bible, pray the Bible, sing the Bible, and preach the Bible. Jesus is our Saviour, Lord, King, and God — and everything we do on Sundays is to worship Him in spirit and truth.

Our services usually run between 60—90 minutes. We sing reverently, joyfully, and triumphantly; we have a band that sings a mix of new songs, old hymns, and psalms; and we celebrate the Lord's Supper monthly.

The Gospel is made clear in every single sermon.

Children are welcome! They can stay with their parents during the service (we have a toddler-friendly play pen at the back, too), or they can go to the children's program available at each service. Every month, the children have a celebration program that all the children go to; but every other week, the program runs if and when parents wish to send their children up.

For parents, there is a sound-proof parents room upstairs with toys, change tables, and a live stream of the sermon.

In between our morning services (8:30 a.m. service and 10:30 a.m.) we spend time together over morning tea. This is about 10-10:30. After our 5:30 p.m. service we also share some refreshments, and a monthly dinner.
