Statement of Faith

As Reformed Baptists, our general theology is most helpfully summarised in the historical document called the London Baptist Confession, of 1689. It is not the standard of our membership, but it is the confession that we hold most closely to.

We explain one paragraph each week in our worship services.

In summary, we believe in the sovereignty of the Triune God; that man is horribly fallen in his sin; that Jesus is the only Saviour for humanity; that his death on the cross satisfied God's wrath and removed our sin; and that saving faith (and faith alone) is the only way to receive Christ's salvation.
