About Hope
We are a confessionally Reformed Baptist church in Logan, Brisbane. We preach the Gospel and explain the Bible. We would love to meet you and have you worship Jesus with us this Sunday.
Who we are
Hope Reformed Baptist Church was planted in 2008. At Hope, we read the Bible, pray the Bible, sing the Bible, and preach the Bible. Jesus is our Saviour, Lord, King, and God, and everything we do on Sundays is to worship Him in spirit and truth.
We take our faith joyfully seriously. Our worship is centred on Scripture, and we gather as a church family in Underwood to know Jesus and to be built up in Him.
What we believe
As Reformed Baptists, our general theology is most helpfully summarised in the London Baptist Confession of 1689. It is not the standard of our membership, but it is the confession that we hold most closely to.
In summary, we believe in the sovereignty of the Triune God; that man is horribly fallen in his sin; that Jesus is the only Saviour for humanity; that his death on the cross satisfied God's wrath and removed our sin; and that saving faith (and faith alone) is the only way to receive Christ's salvation.

Join us every Sunday for worship, prayer, and the preaching of God's Word. Morning service at 9:30 AM, and evening service at 5:30 PM, featuring a different sermon and worship songs. All are welcome.
After the morning service we gather for morning tea. Children may remain with their parents, or join our children's program during the sermon. More detail on parking, what to expect, and how to find us is on the Welcome page.
