At Hope, we believe that the Church is to be led by men who are called by God, gifted for the work, and capable of teaching the Bible and shepherding God's people.
Our Elders

Tom Foord
Tom is the Lead Pastor (or Teaching Elder) at Hope and has been since 2019. Before this, he was serving in Youth ministry and evangelistic capacities. He is in the process of completing a Masters of Divinity through Covenant Baptist Seminary in Kentucky, USA. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Joy, and they have three boys together. Tom also serves as President of the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches of Australia.

Vic Peteranec
Vic was born in Croatia to a Catholic family. The Lord saved him at the age of 30 after his family moved to Australia. He has had many jobs in the past, including in the military and Church leadership in multiple Australian states. Vic has been at Hope with Rosemary since 2015 and has served as ruling Elder since 2019. He is a father of six, a grandfather of six, and an avid fisherman.

Keith Sanga
Keith was born in Fiji - the son of a Solomon Island Chief, and the grandson of Christian missionaries. He completed a Bachelor of Business and Commerce in New Zealand, where he met his wife, Ema. They moved to Brisbane and subsequently joined Hope in 2017. Keith is a business leader and entrepreneur, and since 2021 he has served as a ruling Elder. He and Ema are committed to the Great Commission in Australia and the Pacific.
Our Deacons
Deacons are godly men of conviction who serve the mission of the Church by meeting all kinds of practical needs in the Church.

Caleb Hugman
Caleb has served as a deacon since 2021. He and his wife, Danielle, have two daughters. Vocationally, Caleb works in education at a local Christian school.

Anthony Kerridge
Anthony has served as a deacon since 2022. He works in construction, loves to smoke meat, and is committed to serving the local church.
